Bankroll Management Guide
One of the most important skills any gambler can develop — whether you are betting on BPL matches from Dhaka or spinning video slots late at night in Sylhet — is effective bankroll management. Playing smart with your money extends your entertainment and reduces the risk of chasing losses.
Set a dedicated gambling budget. Before you deposit, decide the total amount you are comfortable losing in a given week or month. This figure should come from your disposable income only — never from savings, rent money, or funds earmarked for essential expenses. Treat this budget as an entertainment cost, not an investment.
Divide your bankroll into session amounts. If your monthly budget is ৳5,000, consider splitting it into 10 sessions of ৳500 each. This prevents you from burning through your entire budget in a single sitting and gives you multiple opportunities to enjoy the platform over the month.
Follow the 1–5% per-bet rule. For each individual bet or spin, stake no more than 1–5% of your total session bankroll. On a ৳500 session, that means individual bets between ৳5 and ৳25. This rule keeps you in the game longer and smooths out the inevitable variance.
Know when to walk away after a win. Set a profit target before each session — for example, doubling your session bankroll. When you hit that target, cash out and celebrate. Continuing to play after a big win often erodes your gains.
Stop after a loss limit — and track your history. Decide in advance that you will end the session if your balance drops by 50% or reaches zero.
